Empower yourself with a fun, engaging and tailored boxing experience designed specifically for women of all ages and fitness levels. Whether you are a complete beginner or have previous experience, Boadicea's unique style and blend of training methods guarentees an enjoyable, educational and challenging session. 

 

Prior To Session

Client Questionnaire - Once your session is booked you will be emailed a session confirmation along with a client questionaire. Boadicea asked that this is filled out a minimum of 24 hours prior to arrival so she can plan a bespoke and personalised sessions that caters to your needs.

Parking - Parking is free and there is plenty of spaces on the premisis. Please try to park on the 'ByPass Side' of Total Fitness. The Womens Gym is located on this side. We have a separate entrance on the side of the building. 

Arrival - Please try to arrive 10 minuets prior to your session start time. We have self-lock lockers so no padlock is required and a comfortable waiting area located to the left of the gym entrance. If you prefer you are more than welcome to begin your own warmup before Boadicea begins your session.

 

Session Breakdown

Warm-Up - A detailed warmup is essential to prevent injury and prepare clients for exercise. Boadicea runs all clients through her '3 Stage Warmup'.

Technical Drills - You will spend a duration of your session working on proper form and technique for punches, footwork and defensive movements. 

Pad Work/Bag Work - These methods of training improve precision, reaction speed and punch accuracy. As well as developing rythm and stamina. Both pad work and bag work are essential for building a strong foundation in boxing and overall performance. 

Conditioning - Boadicea always includes a conditioning elements to a clients boxing session. These may vary from core conditioning, plyometric exercises too HIIT. All methods with Increasing cardiovascular endurance and explosiveness 

Recovery & Breath-work - After an intense session through a rejuvenating recovery practise. This includes assisted stretching to relieve the onset of muscle tightness after the session. Then she moves onto a short but powerful breath-work exercise. Breath-work has many benefits such as improved oxygen flow to muscles, lowering heart rate and calming the autonomic nervous system. This therapeutic recovery routine will leave you feeling balanced, centred and ready to take on the rest of your day.

Where is this service based?

This service is based from The Women's Gym Wilmslow, a luxury modern training facility for ladies only. The gym is equipped with boxing bags, high quality strength & conditioning equipment, techno-gym machines and chnaging facilities with individual shower hubs and vanity stations.

Do I need a gym membership?

You do not require a gym membership to participate in this service. However, multiple gym memberships are available.
